A Profile of Victims in Tyne and Wear, 2008/09 – An overview of the demographic profile of victims, identifying particular groups of people who experience disproportionate levels of crime.  Where the crime was committed and the home address of the victims is analysed.  The type of property stolen is also profiled along with a brief profile on businesses that have been victims of crime.  Temporal analysis has also been undertaken, as crime trends can be influenced by a range of factors that fluctuate according to time of the week or time of the year.

Additional reports covering each of the five Tyne and Wear districts have also been produced.
